It was 48 degrees when I left this morning, 75 when I got back.  I ran 7.13 miles down to Ross Park before the 10K.  I wanted some good MP miles today with St. George coming up and the day went well.  On my run to the park I felt really smooth, first time since the marathon.  In fact I ran a bit fast considering I still had a race to run.

In the 10K I focused on MP miles and averaged 6:46 per mile which is right about MP for me.  I finished 4th overall and won my age group for the whole summer series so I got a sweatshirt and a gift certificate to Barrie's sports so that was cool.

Then I ran the 7.13 miles home nice and easy as a cool-down and got just over 20 for the day.  I am pleased most especially with how I felt.  My form was back and I am feeling better about SGM in 2 weeks!!!

Hey I just realized that this put me over 3000 miles for the year...

Nice job Bill. Seven miles is quite the warmup for a 10K.

Congratulations! You've earned it. I am so impressed by your endurance and stamina. A little jealous too, but mostly inspired.
