It was 60 degrees this morning and was pretty nice when I started.  By the time I finished the wind was blowing 20mph and I had been rained on a couple of times.  I ran 13.52 miles with a few fast miles thrown in.

It was 52 degrees and just a bit breezy this morning.  I ran 15.58 miles and had a couple of faster miles, even some with 6's in front of them.  It still hurts a bit when I push a faster pace so I still need to be careful.  I saw Kory at the end of my run and said hi.  He was looking fast as ever....

It was nice and cool this morning.  44 degrees when I left, 55 when I got back.  I ran 13.26 miles and finally had a stronger last few miles.  I have been struggling later in my runs and have been a bit frustrated by it.  I finished with the last 3 miles all under 7:00.

It was 50 degrees and the temperature climbing this morning.  It is supposed to get close to 100 this weekend.  I ran 15.27 miles and did not push very hard.  I am going to do my longer run on Friday this week with Kory and Barry so I didn't want to kill myself today.

This morning I ran the Pocatello marathon course with Kory and Barry.  It was nice and cool on the backside of Buckskin.  Barry's leg was bothering him so Kory and I ran ahead.  We ran 21.15 miles in a nice, conversational pace.  It was great to run with someone else and Kory and I talked the whole way and the miles passed by very quickly.

When I woke up this morning my quads were tight from yesterdays long run with Kory.  The first 12 miles or so were a pretty good decline so I could feel it.  I had already pre-paid for today's race as part of the city series so I decided to see what my foot could handle in a faster pace.

I ran just over 5 miles to the start line in an easy 7:28 pace.  I had some time to talk to a few people before the start and got a drink.  This course is very hilly with some good climbing the first 2 miles or so and it was a warm day with the sun shining bright.  Here are the splits:

1.  6:48  (some flat, then uphill)

2.  7:27  (all uphill)

3.  6:21  (rolling, then downhill)

4.  6:10  (downhill, then flat)

5.  6:40  (flat, then uphill)

6.  6:41  (uphill, then flat)

.2  1:19 (6:35 pace)

I finished in 6th place overall and did not push really hard, especially after yesterday's run.  I feel good about the splits and my foot is just fine.  I ran back home to get in 16.27 miles for the day.
