Morning:  It was 8 degrees with a wind chill just below zero when I left this morning.  It warmed to a balmy 19 by the time I got home.  I ran 18.34 miles in a nice, comfortable pace.  It was actually a very enjoyable run and I was only planning 15 but I stretched it out at the end because I felt so good.  I am going to get over 100 this week so this is a good start :-)

Morning:  I have today off so I had time for another good run.  It was 12 degrees this morning.  I ran 20.18 miles, good pace again.  I was only planning 17 but stretched to 20 because I was feeling good and  had the time.

Morning:  It was 29 degrees with a fresh blanket of snow this morning.  I got snowed on a little as I ran but the temperature felt really nice.  I ran 13.16 miles in a slow pace due to conditions and I am a little tired from the 60 plus miles the prior 3 days.

Morning:  27 degrees with some wind this morning.  That was not the problem.  All of the snow and slush from yesterday is now frozen hard on the roads.  It was icy so I ran a fairly flat route and avoided my normal hills because it was just too icy.  I ran 13.45 miles and slipped 5-6 times and actually fell hard once.....only 0.3 miles from the end of my run.  I was rounding a corner and my inside leg went right under me and I was on the ground.  I skinned my knee and my elbow but I don't think I hurt anything :)

Morning:  It was 5 degrees with areas of "freezing fog" this morning, but the roads were mostly clear so that was good.  I ran 15.22 miles in a good pace with what seemed like an easy effort.  I really like my 15 mile loop so it makes it easy to run fast.  100 is in the bag this week...I am thinking 115.

Morning:  It was 8 degrees this morning but there was less of the fog so I had less ice on me when I got home.  I ran 13.21 miles in a good pace.  Long run tomorrow.

Morning:  It was 8 degrees this morning with some areas of that nasty fog.  I was, however pretty motivated for my run today as I was on the brink of doing more miles in a week than I had ever run.  My previous high was 104 and I had over 93 before I started today.  It was pretty cold when I was in the foggy areas, in fact it had only warmed to 16 degrees by the time I finished my run almost 3 hours later.  I ran 23.27 miles putting me at 116.83 for the week.  I need to go to work now but there is some dumb part of me that is tempted to run 3.25 on my treadmill tonight so I can break 120.  Luckily tired will probably overrule dumb tonight.  What a GREAT week!!!
