It was 55 degrees this morning with a couple sprinkles of rain at the start then nothing after that.  I was planning some speed work today so I grabbed a small water bottle and headed up Jerome to the top of Satterfield.  I ran in to Angela at the top and she was running 1/4 mile repeats so I ran 6 of them with her.  3 down and 3 back up a slight incline.  After that I ran over to the other end of Satterfield to do my mile repeats on the downhill section of Satterfield and Pocatello creek.  I left my water bottle at the top.  I ran down 1 mile fast and then ran back up a mile slow.  My fast miles were 5:53, 5:50, 5:45, and 5:44.  I was not real excited about the 1 mile run back up the hill but it was OK.  My fast runs were comfortably hard and I felt good about the pace.  I really need more speedwork like this.  I ran a total of 13.46 miles.

Good run! See you next week at UVM. When are you heading down and where are you staying?

Nice work. Very good area to do the hill repeats. How early did you have to get up with all the corporate inspections your having?

Jeff, I am going down Friday around noon. I am staying at the Days Inn by the mall.

Kory, I have been getting up around 3:30-4:00 every day.

That is what Kory and I were thinking too (we will both have our families as well, you?). Does Kory have your phone number? I will send you mine in a private message.

Jeff, I am not sure if Sue can travel down with me. Riding in a car for her is very uncomfortable right now with the episode of vertigo she is going through. I might be by myself, I might not. I don't have Kory's number so I can send you mine.

Bill I send you my Cell Phone number in a private email.
